Several students at the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) in Portland have been protesting since dawn over what they claim are poor living conditions at the Passley Gardens campus.

The placard-bearing protesters want the ministries of health, education and agriculture to intervene.

They say water supply is inconsistent, sanitation poor and meal preparation mediocre.

The students are also demanding a nurse on the campus.

They have vowed to continue their protest until their demands are met.

The college administration could not be immediately contacted.
