Price... We know that what currently exists is not the quality of service that our customers expect from us.

Telecommunications company FLOW says it has undertaken a comprehensive review of its mobile and fixed networks to address recent issues about which customers have been complaining.

In a media statement Friday afternoon, FLOW also said, already, it has carried out upgrades to its mobile network to provide more enhanced and widespread coverage.

However, FLOW said, in recent weeks, its infrastructure has been affected by thieves causing several disruptions, particularly in St Catherine.

Earlier today, the Office of Utilities Regulation said it has instructed telecommunication providers FLOW and Digicel to properly advise customers about service disruptions.

"We know that what currently exists is not the quality of service that our customers expect from us, and for this, we apologise," said FLOW’s country manager Stephen Price.

He said the telecoms company is investing heavily to expand and upgrade its LTE network as it seeks to fulfil its commitment of 95 per cent coverage by the end of the year.

FLOW also says preparatory work on its fixed network is slated to get underway before the end of the year with the main projects scheduled to begin in early 2020.
