An alleged top-ranking member of the Clansman-One Don Gang known as 'Lucifer' reportedly bragged that he had instructed gangsters to shoot up the Spanish Town Police Station following the death of the founding gang leader Donovan 'Bulbie' Bennett.

“A mi send go shoot up the police station the night when the bl……th, when, when Bulbie dead, you know, and mi nuh send dem fi shoot up nuh station, mi tell dem fi go a di CIB (Criminal Investigation Branch) room.”

“A three car mi send pan di road, you know. Mi tell dem fi drive a di door a di CIB and empty two a di bl……t M-16 in deh,” the man, who also goes by the name City Puss and is the One Don Gang's alleged second-in-command, was heard boasting in one of the secret recordings played in the Home Circuit Court Monday.

Bennett, who had been on the country's most wanted list for a decade, was cut down by cops on October 30, 2005, along with his driver Nathan, at a house in Tanaky district in Clarendon.

Gang split

Tesha Miller, who is now incarcerated, reportedly took over the reins, but the gang later suffered a split following an internal power struggle between Miller and Andre 'Blackman' Bryan, who was said to be a top lieutenant.

A new faction, called the One Don Gang, reportedly emerged with Bryan as its alleged leader.

On Monday, as the trial of Bryan and 32 other alleged gang members continued, City Puss disclosed via the recordings that he had not only ordered the attack on the station, but had also executed the father of two of his alleged cronies.

“A mi mek dem dash weh Crank Crank father di night. Crank Crank don't even know him fada, you know. You see him a come jump pon bandwagon and a follow man, even though a must dem tell him 'cause him and Smoky inna de same boat with me. A mi murda dem fada.

“Dem a gwaan like dem a somebody, a f…ing idiot dem deh,” he said as he used expletives to describe the men, including Pete 'Smoky' Miller, one of the defendants.

City Puss, who was behind bars while having the 45-minute conversation with defendant Stephanie Christie and an ex-gang member, who had secretly recorded the conversation.

Discussing disloyal gang members, the alleged second-in-command told his cronies that he had warned Bryan to “cut dem off”, noting that they would want to return when the gang was back in full operation.

Christie chimed in with a foul invective.

“Wi nah litter di place like we shuda dweet. Dem fi find half a dem body or jus head alone. Headless body dem fi find, half a dem body, people fi a wonder weh di rest a di boy,” City Puss said while laughing.

“So mi wah chop chop dem up,” an excited Christie screamed during the conversation.

City Puss said that was the strategy they should adopt to drive fear into the disloyal members, a point supported by Christie.

He stressed that he wanted the gang to prosper and wanted the best for Blackman, who he described as a friend.

“A mi a di soldier. Anything him tell mi, mi a press button, mi nah look no recompense or nuh chance, mi jus waa see di ting flourish,” he said, revealing that Blackman was the only leader who had ever given him any money from the gang's activities.

“Bulbie send mi go kill people and mi end up a prison and a man never look pon mi and gi mi a dollar. Mi all a get visiting and dem tek weh mi money and a dis a di only man dis weh ever gi mi sinting,” he said.

City Puss declared that he would never turn his back on Bryan, whether he is behind bars or out on the street.

The trial will continue today with more recordings being played.
