The Integrity Commission (IC) is reporting that it submitted to Parliament yesterday an addendum to its report of investigation that was sent to Gordon House on September 5, 2024.

In a release, the IC says it received a six-page third-party witness statement one day after it submitted the investigation report to Parliament last week.

The commission says the third-party witness statement is germane to the investigation report.

“It is important to record and clarify that the statement was submitted to the commission by the witness on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 2:46 p.m., after the commission had already submitted the report to Parliament for tabling on Thursday, September 5, 2024,” the IC emphasised.

According to the IC, the substantiating addendum is not meant to alter, in any respect, the findings, conclusions, or recommendations that are in the report.

Hard copies of the addendum were submitted in separate envelopes, under the cover of identical letters, addressed to House Speaker Juliet Holness; Senate President Tom Tavares-Finson, Deputy Speaker Heroy Clarke, and Clerk to the Houses Colleen Lowe.

The documentation was formally received and signed for at the Parliament at 11:04 a.m. yesterday, the IC said.

The IC says it anticipates that the addendum, along with the report, will be tabled in the Parliament as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the IC yesterday submitted two additional investigation reports to Parliament for tabling.

Copies of the two latest reports were sent to Holness, Tavares-Finson, and Lowe.
