In support of anti-abortion column

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I enjoyed reading your article published in The Gleaner on Friday, November 17, titled 'Pregnancy is not a disease'. It is obvious that you were taught the nuances of pregnancy, and have 'embraced' the concept of the right to life of the foetus - once conceived - in the woman's womb.

Apart from your religious teachings as a devout Catholic, I support your argument that the notion /agenda of abortion is essentially grounded in a convenient truth being pushed by many (and often misguided) persons and specific lobby groups in the society, and NOT primarily based on a health issue.

Keep on educating the population on the real message to be had - pertaining to the proper way to live and treat each other on Earth as ordained by the Almighty, instead of being politically correct and supporting what is socially desirable.
