Trump antics demean presidency
THE EDITOR, Sir:
Donald Trump's behaviour, pre- and post-presidency, has been anything but presidential. His malignant narcissism, childish behaviour, lack of interest in learning fundamentals in order to make informed and wise decisions, and his propensity to create his own facts and fuel controversy have marred his presidency and, by extension, his administration.
The number of Trump White House staffers who have either resigned or been fired in his almost one year in office is astounding and unprecedented. His mental state and ability to lead have been discussed, more and more, by journalists, columnists and psychiatrists.
Now, with the publication of 'Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House', Michael Wolff's expose on Trump, the world will see further evidence of a man who is as unsuited to be America's president as David Duke is fit for leadership of the NAACP.
