World must stand against Saudi Arabia

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has tried to cast himself in the mould of a reformer. His supporters point to his youthfulness along with changing sociocultural and economic practices as evidence of the reformation that is unfolding.
While there exists some truth to the fact that the prince has pushed through some reforms, namely, allowing women to drive, as well as the diversification of the Saudi economy, the reality is that the young ruler has displayed an appetite for brazen, destructive and destabilising behaviour.
If the ongoing blockade of Qatar and the simultaneous bombing of Yemen were not convincing enough, the recent ratcheting up of tensions with Canada, as well as the suspicious disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi must now be the final straw for the Western world.
If the crown prince is permitted to continue acting in such a manner, it's only a matter of time before there will be a steeper price to pay.
