This is PNP country

THE EDITOR, Sir:

In his December 16, 2018, column, Mark Wignall said that the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) needs to learn to win big.

But let me remind him that this is People's National Party (PNP) country.

Most of the middle class support the JLP, but most of them don't vote. The poor people who Sister P love do vote. That is why in Kingston, all the seats, with the exception of West Kingston, below Half-Way Tree are controlled by the PNP.

The only time the JLP wins is when PNP supporters get tired of their party and don't vote.

Andrew Holness needs to change the minds of young people with jobs. But I don't know if he has enough time before the next election.
