THE EDITOR, Madam:
On Monday, December 2, 2019, I was transported to the A&E Department of the Spanish Town Hospital in St Catherine because of dengue-like symptoms. I was rushed in and taken to the registration area. I waited about half an hour before I was seen by the doctor.
Upon reaching the A&E Department, they asked what was the case and I told them. Immediately, they put a dehydration drip in my hand and I was revived, as I was half-dead.
A day later, I was sent to the holding area, where I was treated and paid special attention. The place was clean and everything.
I thank the personnel at the hospital for saving me. I am now home recovering on medication.
