Campaign personally funded

THE EDITOR, Madam:

I write from The Hague, Netherlands.

It has been brought to my attention that there has been some speculation as to the financing of my campaign for a judgeship of the International Court of Justice. I wish to clarify that I never received a cent from the Government of Jamaica in respect of this campaign. I provided all the funds that were required.
