We have equally brilliant people waiting

THE EDITOR, Madam:​

While not everyone sings his praises, Dr Nigel Clarke has shown a giftedness to draw the attention of higher office.

All academia has the intent to impact the world, and while Dr Clarke had used Jamaica as the foundation to get the global community’s attention, his ambition (too) is to make international impact.

I say kudos to Lance Neita for his wonderful piece; and while I will not counter or disagree with his views, I cannot help but say, ‘Gwaanne, Doc!’ Let us show you and the world that we have equally brilliant people waiting in the wings to take up where Dr Clarke left off.
