Biden administration taking rash decisions
THE EDITOR, Madam:
Joe Biden’s final act as commander-in-chief is disturbing as it is clear that he is trying to sabotage the work of the incoming Trump administration by making very dangerous decisions. Suppose it is true, like the laptop from hell. In that case, Biden’s decision to auction construction materials paid for by the taxpayers to be used for the border wall, which they stopped at really low prices, is precisely why the Americans voted him out of office. This will force the incoming administration to spend more tax dollars to buy materials to complete the wall he started and will complete. This isn’t hurting Trump; this is wasting taxpayer dollars and precious time for the contractors and border security.
Also, the decision to launch a new app so that migrants can bypass in-person ICE check-ins is an evident and spiteful act to force as many illegal and unvetted immigrants as possible into the country to thwart the Trump agenda, i.e., more cartel members, drug dealers, rapists, etc. Biden administration is not only leaving Trump with wide open borders; it is creating the most significant national security nightmare for the citizens of the US. It’s not about race; it’s about the enforcement of law and order. A border wall is an effective physical structure to streamline the influx and outflow of people and goods through legal points of entry, ensuring they are appropriately vetted and documented, otherwise refused entry.
Biden should consider taking the month off. The urgency of the situation is palpable, and it’s unclear if he’s fully aware of what’s happening. It seems someone is forcing his hand or calling the shots. January 20 can’t come early enough.
