On Friday June 2, music lovers, philanthropists and past students of the Alpha Institute, gathered at the Valencia Suite of the Spanish Court hotel to listen to the great sounds of the Alpha Alumni Ensemble Band and Ken Boothe at the Alpha 137 Anniversary Dance.

The dance was a fund raising event for the educational and vocational programs at Alpha Institute, which benefits inner city youth.

At the close of the evening, the dance raised more than $1 million.

Here are the highlights.
