Celebration for JPPC and JPS

Hooraay!The staff at Jamaica Private Power Company Limited (JPPC) strike a jubilant pose Wednesday night (December 6) as they celebrate the extension of their Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with JPS. The JPPC has formally extended its agreement to provide electricity to the Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) power grid for an additional period commencing in January 2018 and ending on December 31, 2024. The agreement will see JPPC supplying up to 60MW of electrical power to the JPS grid. The JPPC has formally extended its agreement to provide electricity to the Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) power grid commencing in January 2018 and ending on December 31, 2024. The agreement will see JPPC supplying up to 60MW of electrical power to the JPS grid. The existing PPA between both parties is scheduled to end in early January 2018. As the agreement was signed, it was a time to celebrate for all parties involved.
