Rocking a classic tux topped the with a baseball cap, Morgan Freeman received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and we could not be happier because he is so deserving of this auspicious prize. 

Nicole Kidman won for outstanding performance by a female actor in a TV movie or limited series, for Big Little Lies, and it was great to see the camaraderie between her and her fellow competitors in the category. They all hugged as her name was announced, and it made for a heart warming moment.

John Stamos kissed the baby bump of his girlfriend Caitlin McHughon on the red carpet for all the cameras to capture. 

Death at a funeral
Even within a state of emergency, crime continues in the 'wild wild west' of Montego Bay. One man has been confirmed dead and many others injured, after shots rang out at the funeral last Saturday. Videos of the shooting along with those injured went viral. What surprised many was that this happened in the wake of heavy security presence as the prime minister declared a state of emergency in the parish last week. It’s clear that divine intervention is needed to calm the raging storm.

Obsessed with Lasco
A young woman from St James has been trending following a video showing her very upset over the arrest of her 'baby father'. But in her report, she was mostly disappointed by the fact that she hadn’t received the "Lasco" that she had sent him to buy before he was taken into custody. When asked if she was upset about the situation, she replied that she wasn’t "obsessed", but she definitely was angry over the lack of Lasco. A baby’s gotta eat.

Kim and Kanye have announced the name of their third child, a daughter born through surrogate — Chicago West.
