Television talk show host Stacy-Ann Smith recently launched her first book — a message-driven memoir titled Time Does Not Heal — with a small gathering held at a private residence in Kingston. Guests included some of the trained journalist and communications specialist’s closest friends, family and colleagues. The newly minted author read an excerpt from her book and gave a heartfelt speech as she described her journey to publishing her first book. While guests, shared openly some of their own personal experiences based on their reading, making it quite an atmosphere of celebration and reflection as the mostly female audience bonded over shared experiences.
