We have been event-trotting this past week and it’s taken us from one end of Kingston to the next. It kick-started with the eighth anniversary for Ribbiz Ultra Lounge in Barbican on International Reggae Day (Thursday, July 1) and continued into Saturday, July 3 at the Grand Excelsior Hotel (formerly Morgan’s Harbour Hotel) in Port Royal for the return of Good Times. The magic that nightlife in Jamaica brings with it was clearly evident as partygoers expressed delight at being outside again. It also meant, for some, the time had come to put on their best outfits and set the stage for the rest of the summer. See the highlights Something Extra caught on camera.
