Following a two-year hiatus, Island Child Style, marketed as the Caribbean’s premier children’s runway event celebrating fashion and designers, returned in fine style last Saturday at the Port Royal Cruise Pier. More than 100 boys and girls, ranging in age from four to 16 years, rocked the runway as they showcased designs by 14 local and regional designers, and two child designers. As was expected, the fashion temperature, both on and off the stage, was sky-high at the fourth staging of this family event. Something Extra was there and shares some of the highlights.
