The Summit in New Kingston was the place to be last Wednesday evening. Under the stars and surrounded by the who’s who of dancehall and reggae music in Jamaica, recording artiste Kabaka Pyramid celebrated his birthday in fine style. The occasion also served as the official Grammy win party for Reggae Album of the year The Kalling. Close friends and colleagues shared messages of love, respect and admiration that were humbly received by the Kontraband singer. And what is a birthday celebration without a presentation of gifts and cutting a cake? The night concluded with much laughter and good music. Something Extra has the highlights.
