SAINT’s men bring the heat for winter advertising campaigns
When a new season begins in the global fashion industry, it’s highly probable that a SAINT International model will be chosen as the featured face for a major brand, a label’s new campaign or collection.
Three SAINT male models, Brad Allen, Romaine Dixon and Winston Lawrence, are showcasing their talents, taking centre stage in distinct projects related to fall and winter themes. These projects are in collaboration with Saks Fifth Avenue, supermodel Gigi Hadid’s cashmere label Guest in Residence, and the Turkish fashion brand, The Stay Line.
“Working with Gigi was nothing short of amazing and very instructive,” Dixon, who has co-fronted global advertising campaigns for Fendi and Dior revealed when speaking about the shoot for the winter collection of the American top model’s knitwear and cashmere company, which was officially launched last year.
He continued,“Being that the brand is hers, I observed how very hands-on she was with the creative side as she was very keen to get all the looks for the day photographed in a specific way.” Photographer, Pablo Di Prima, captured the moments for the studio shoot in Manhattan in September. Hadid’s Guest in Residence label recently opened its first flagship store on Bond Street in New York. Their product line includes cardigans, polos, slim-fit joggers, hoodies, tanks, scarves, and beanies.
Similarly, SAINT’s Lawrence, who resides in the Big Apple, is also seeing the recent fruits of his modelling efforts as they become available for public retail consumption. The Jamaican model takes the forefront in a recently published editorial for Saks Fifth Avenue, a luxury department store, focusing on men’s fashion trends for the upcoming fall and winter seasons.
“I’m seriously into fashion, so it’s always a pleasure to discover and get dressed up in what’s the latest for men,” he remarked of his new shoot lensed last month.
“We shot in and around the city, and besides the cool clothes, New York always has a vibe, so there’s a great energy that’s in the air,” he recounted of the mood on-set for the Saks assignment.
Meanwhile, SAINT’s Allen made a transatlantic journey to Europe, where he is featured in recently released advertising campaigns for the high-end French brand Façonnable and the eco-friendly co-ed lifestyle brand, The Stay Line, headquartered in Istanbul. He mentioned that the campaign for the latter was photographed at a container terminal in June,“I was doing moving video and still photos for the Japanese workwear brands Toraichi and Komorebi which are both retailed exclusively by my client Stay Line,” Allen shared of the seaside shoot, where he struck commanding poses against the backdrop of cranes and shipping vessels.
