More than 320 patrons celebrated Jamaica’s vibrant culture at the annual Sugarcane Ball, hosted by Hanover Charities at the fabulous Round Hill Hotel and Villas on Saturday night. As the night unfolded, the guests, immersed in an atmosphere of elegance and philanthropy, came together to outdo last year’s US$600,000-contribution which was raised at what has become the single largest charity event on the island. Something Extra has the highlights.
