We cannot be oblivious to the monumental thrill of Jamaica’s dreamy, domestic architecture when we come face to face with houses like this one.

It vindicates its pronounced presence with a configuration of 21st-century exterior and interior styling, perched valiantly at the edge of a steep coastal precipice, rising 130 feet high above the overwhelming Caribbean waters.

The lavishly appointed inner particularities of the house fascinates your organ of sight, starting with an entrance ‘accent’ wall (standing out from all others), finished with exotic Patagonia granite stone, quarried in Brazil, with the most unusual patterns and colours. Then, there is the staircase, constructed with the famed, elegant Turkish marble, excavated in Turkey, distinguished by its sheer beauty. Bathroom walls are perfected with both granite and quartzite, in the company of basin countertops of quartz material, with a commercial-grade kitchen also exposing quartz counters.

Eight, mostly seaview bedrooms, evoke enduring admiration, with the principal being wrapped around with its very own glass-railed seaview balcony. There are six walk-in shower bathrooms (some with twin basins), and a powder room. The showy dining room reaps the benefits of its own sitting room, separate from the tray ceiling, recessed-lit main living room – both entering onto private recreation viewing verandahs.

There are both indoor and outdoor wet bars for social activity. The fully air-conditioned, contemporary furnished interiors are favourably coloured in pearl-white, and a double carport serves its purpose. The mint-green exterior (part textured by stone tile work) is effectually enhanced by a mosaic, shimmering infinity-edge swimming pool, along with a surprising pond inspiringly inserted between two glass-dominated wings of the building. Simply fantastic!

This dream house, on a quarter-of-an-acre, located in Jamaica Beach, Tower Isle, St Mary, was completed in a three-year construction timespan in 2022. I thank Kayon Gibson for arranging and opening the doors to a house of this time. We acknowledge it with glee!
