As the nation commemorated National Heroes Day on Monday, Something Extra was on hand to celebrate with the more than 223 honourees, officials and guests present at the annual Ceremony of Investiture and Presentation of National Honours and Awards, hosted by Governor General Sir Patrick Allen. With the weather pushing the event from the traditional lawns of King’s House to the National Indoor Sports Centre, our lens captured the pomp and circumstance.
