No breakthrough in shooting death of 11-month-old infant

The West Kingston police are yet to make a breakthrough in a shooting yesterday that claimed the life of an 11-month-old infant.

An older child who was also shot, remains in hospital.

Omar Lindo was allegedly shot and killed by gunmen who were chasing a man on Chancery Lane.

According to the grandmother of the child, Lindo was killed while his mother was bathing him in their yard.

It is understood that the shooting resulted from a gang feud.

According to reports, a man from one gang was chased by members of another during a shootout.

The man ran into the yard and the gunmen followed.

The children were reportedly shot during the exchange of gun fire.
