Mother of murdered 11-month-old plea for killer to surrender

The mother of the 11-month-old boy who was shot and killed on Easter Monday is appealing to his killer to turn himself him.

In a letter to the editor, the woman says she is overwhelmed and saddened by the death of her son.

She says she keeps asking why men keep robbing the nation of its future, its children.

The grieving mother says her son’s killer should do the right thing and surrender to the police.

Reports are that on April 6 a man was in the area fixing his motor cycle when ‎he was attacked by gunmen.

The man was reportedly chased into a yard by gunmen who opened fire.

Baby Omar was shot fatally and his seven-year-old brother shot and injured during the attack.
