Corporate Hands: Reading for the Children

Maria Morrison (right), First Heritage Credit Union's chief operating officer and Jamaica Reading Association president Viviene McLeary read chapters of the book “Magnus The Mongoose Meets New Friends”, by Alison Latchman. The signing and reading of the book took place at the credit union's head office on April15.

The First Heritage Credit Union Foundation this year partnered with the Jamaica Reading Association for National Reading Week 2015.

The theme is 'The Legacy of Literacy ... Passport to the World'.

National Reading Week activities commenced on April 26 and continues to May 1. Team members from the credit union and the Jamaica Reading Association will conduct, Read Aloud sessions in 20 schools islandwide.
