The teachers of St George's Girls Primary and Infant School on Duke Street received the best Teachers' Day surprise when Digicel arrived with lunch and gifts for some 23 teachers.
"It feels very good to be recognised by the corporate community for all the hard work we do as teachers," said Donna Lawson, acting vice-principal of the school. "We thank Digicel for making us feel really appreciated on this Teachers' Day."
The teachers were treated to lunch, a special cake, red roses, and phone credit. And the principal received a new tablet to help her with the daily management of the school.
Teachers at the Naz Children's Centre in Montego Bay also got a special luncheon surprise at the Iberostar Hotel.
