Suspect in St Elizabeth quadruple murder surrenders to police

One of the suspects in the St Elizabeth quadruple murder has surrendered to the police.
The suspect reported to the Santa Cruz Police in the company of his attorney yesterday.
His name is being withheld pending an identification parade.
The suspect is one of two the police believe were responsible for the murders of four men in the usually quiet district of Claremont, near New Market, St Elizabeth last week.
The police say two men struck during a power outage on May 27, 2015 and attacked patrons at a shop in Claremont killing 73-year-old farmer and shopkeeper Ezra Wright; brothers, 60-year-old Archibald and George Brown; and 50-year-old farmer, Morris Sanderson.
The named suspects have been regarded as gangsters who broke away from the St James-based Stone Crusher Gang.
