High turbidity impacting water supply to some Manchester communities

The NWC says water supply will be restored when the turbidity subsides.

The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that the water disruption being experience by some Manchester communities is due to high turbidity impacting the Two Meetings Treatment Plant.

Areas affected include Laughton Town, Junction, Mt. Moriah, Alston, Tweedside, Peckham, Baillieston, Cow Pen, Booth Town, and Malcolm Town.

Also being affected are Nine Mile, Zinc Shop, Santa Hill, Bullocks, Sanguinetti, Limit, Cobbla, Village Street, Walderston, Mizpah, Mt. Olivett, White Shop and surrounding areas.

The NWC says water supply will be restored when the turbidity subsides.
