Meldam Realty Gets Chamber Award

Rory Marsh, owner and CEO of Meldam Realty, was declared the winner of the St Ann Chamber of Commerce 2015 Young Entrepreneur Award at the Jewels Runaway Bay Beach Resort on May 30. The St Ann-based business is a limited liability company with more than 45 years' experience of selling real estate on the north coast and in Kingston.

Marsh is a member of the Realtors Association of Jamaica, and various boards and community groups, who recently launched an ultramodern website which is currently enjoying leading positions on search engines Google and Yahoo. The success of the website, meldamrealty.com, has contributed significantly to the recent achievements of the company.

The award was created to honour individuals who fit the criteria of successful young business leaders and who have had an impact on the parish of St Ann in an exemplary manner.

Speaking about the presentation, Marsh said: "The main factors which contributed to the achievement of this award are my love for St Ann, support from family, the professionalism of the Meldam Realty agents and our investment in technology and training."

The St Ann Chamber of Commerce is located in the Pineapple Place complex in Ocho Rios and its current president is Oral Heaven. The annual awards gala is a ceremony designated to highlight companies or individuals which have provided outstanding service to the community.
