Area 3 Narcotics police destroy St Elizabeth ganja farm

The police yesterday destroyed 16 acres of fully grown ganja and seized two guns during an operation in St Elizabeth.

The police, who are from Area 3 Narcotics, destroyed the ganja farm while on an operation in Bagdale Mountain in the parish.

Meanwhile, the police say they seized two guns and 121 assorted rounds of ammunition at a hut in the same area.

Approximately 300 pounds of compressed ganja were also allegedly seized.

No arrests were made in connection with the operation.
