The Judicial Review Court is hearing a case brought against the decision of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) to take control of a section of the Mandela Highway.

The Rural Transit Company Limited is questioning the constitutionality of the JUTC's decision.

The company is contending that the decision is a breach of the constitutional rights of public passenger operators.

Justices Carol Lawrence Beswick, Christine McDonald and Frank Williams are hearing the case.
