Truck crash on Spur Tree Hill

The police in Manchester were called to the scene of a major traffic accident along the Spur Tree Hill main road in Manchester this morning.

However, the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) says there was no report of any fatality.

It is reported that a truck carrying molasses was travelling down Spur Tree Hill when the driver lost control and the vehicle crashed.

While confirming the crash, CCU says it is still trying to get details of the incident.

CCU reports that the incident caused a huge pile up of traffic in the area.
