Cop killed in West Kingston

A police constable was killed in the West Kingston Police Division a short while ago.
It's understood that around 8 o'clcok, the constable was walking along Wellington Street when he was attacked from behind and shot.
The cop who was attached to the Denham Town Police Station died on the spot.
Senior Superintendent Cornwall 'Bigga' Ford says investigators are currently on the scene.
This is the second cop from the division to be killed in the past week.
