The Hussey family gives back.

Approximately 200 students in Bounty Hall, Trelawny, recently received school supplies, courtesy of the Christelle Harris Charity Foundation.

Harris, who is director of marketing at Hampden Estate and granddaughter of Ruth and Laurie Hussey, said, "I could not have done this on my own, the key to the success of the foundation over the years has been the tremendous support from family and friends."

Packages consisted of necessities, including notebooks, colouring books, folder and graph paper, geometry sets, pens, pencils, sharpeners, rulers, paintbrushes and lunch boxes, toiletries valued at approximately $250,000, and $50,000 to several students with special needs, including a breakfast feeding programme through the Young Ladies Ministry of the Bounty Hall New Testament Church of God.
