Relatives of 61-year-old St Thomas farmer charged with his murder, mutilated body found in yard

Two men from Morant district in St Thomas have been charged with the murder of a farmer who was reported missing on October 20.
The mutilated body of 61-year-old Roy Burry was found in a section of his yard on October 22.
Two relatives of the deceased have since been charged for the murder.
Police reports are that Burry was reported missing by a relative and an investigation launched.
Thirty-one-year-old Darion Edwards and 22-year-old Romaine Burry, both of Morant district in the parish, were subsequently arrested and charged for the murder.
They are to appear in the Morant Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court on November 18.
