GRANVILLE, St James:

General Secretary of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Dr Horace Chang says the longer Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller takes to call the election, the hotter the beating she will receive.

Chang, speaking at a political meeting in Granville, St. James challenged Simpson Miller to call the elections now.

The JLP general secretary, who is also MP for North West St James said he is taking personal interest in Hanover and St James, where he predicts the JLP will record a landside victory to claim seven seats.

Chang said the PNP continues to disrespect the people of the country, particularly, "tourism workers who must begin to get some type of benefit from the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF)".

He said they must be given good roads leading to their homes, but this is not being done "because under the PNP the little man cannot grow".
