The Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ) is warning members of the public about unscrupulous persons who are illegally selling service lots in St Ann.

The HAJ says it has come to its attention that persons have been selling lots at Mount Edgecome Five in the parish.

The agency says it is the sole entity authorised to sells those lots and it has not authorised any other person or entity to do so on its behalf.

The HAJ says a report has been made to the police's Fraud Squad regarding the illegal sale of lots in the housing development.

It says offenders will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

HAJ says legal action will be taken against trespassers on the property.
