A senior police officer giving testimony at the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry today sought to explain errors in his witness statements.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Winchroy Budhoo yesterday admitted to making four errors in the statement he provided the enquiry.

Under cross examination today by attorney for the Office of the Public Defender, Lord Anthony Gifford, ACP Budhoo said he prepared his statement from memory and notations he made.

ACP Budhoo's statement was written on June 4, 2010, just over a week after the operation aimed at capturing drug kingpin Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.

However, the Assistant Commissioner testified yesterday that he noticed the errors this year.
