Except for a few diehard supporters, the street in front of the People's National Party (PNP) headquarters on Old Hope Road, St Andrew was sparse Saturday night.
The PNP had hoped to stage a massive Corporate Area gospel concert just before Christmas.
However, despite a line-up which included big acts like Omari, Dwayne Stephens, Sandra Brooks, George Nooks and Jermaine Edwards, only about 100 spectators turned up.
Ronald Thwaites, the MP for Central Kingston tried to get the energy going.
"Loosen your limbs and dance," he said but the spirit hardly moved through.
