59-year-old man shot dead in Clarendon

The body of a man was found in New Ground District of Chapelton, Clarendon last night.

The dead man has been identified as 59-year-old Dennis Temple.

Temple was found in his house with several gunshot wounds to his upper body.

According to reports,  loud explosions were heard in the community shortly before eight last night and the police were summoned to area. 

Temple was found lying on his bed with multiple wounds to the left side of his face.

There are reports that Temple had been in a dispute with another man.

However, the police have not confirmed whether his death is related to that dispute.
