The Manchester Police are probing the murder of a 56-year-old janitor who was employed to the Manchester Parish Council.

The body of 56-year-old Carmalita Dinall was found today in a shallow grave at her home on Grove Road in Mandeville.

It's the first murder in Manchester since the start of the year.

Superintendent Vendolyn Cameron-Powell of the Mandeville Police says about 10 o’clock this morning, a report was received about an incident at Dinall's apartment on Grove Road in Mandeville.

A police team was dispatched to the area and after a search of the compound the cops found Dinall’s body in a shallow grave under a burnt out mattress.

The police were able to capture two suspects.

The police believe Dinall may have been killed after a dispute over a dog.
