FLOW has cemented its relationship with the Karen Clarke-led Youth View Awards, (YVAs) 2016, by signing again to become its premium diamond sponsor of the event which targets teens and the young at heart. It's a celebration of Jamaican and popular culture that has all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

FLOW will this year take the event to another level, offering products, services and fan experience to enhance the February 20 event. This year, some $10 million in cash and services is earmarked for the event.

ROLL OUT THE BEST

Brand experience manager at FLOW, Nicole Campbell, congratulated the team for an excellent awards show and assured the fans that like last year, the telecoms company will roll out its best for the event.

"The Youth View Awards remains the signature entertainment awards show in Jamaica. Since 2007, Clarke and her team have been an excellent example of a well executed awards show. FLOW is pleased to be associated with the brand and looks to expanding their exposure footprint as the exclusive telecommunications partner of the YVAs," said Campbell.

This year's event will be full of great experiences and some surprises. The YVAs is a fan-centred award, where votes are cast for favourite nominated artistes, entertainers and celebrities. FLOW will use its platform to power the event and has announced that the voting lines opened on Thursday January 7. Fans have the option to call or text to 444-4204 to vote for their favourite in each category. The cost is $25.

"It's a show catering to young people, so we have to deliver on everything. The experience factor will certainly be a high for us and we have a lot to engage the entertainers and fans alike this year. Social media will also be a major component," added Campbell.

The telecoms provider will also bring back the free general admission ticket with a purchase of $300 mobile data credit. Tickets will be accessible at the FLOW stores in Kingston, Portmore and Spanish Town at a later date to be announced in the press.
