Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship-Caribbean now recruiting

A year after the launch of the region's first non-academic online entrepreneur skills training programme - Branson Centre Caribbean Online - The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship - Caribbean (BCoEC) is again on the hunt for serious entrepreneurs ready to take their business to the next level.
The Branson Centre Caribbean Online programme which has benefitted over 600 Jamaican entrepreneurs, is part of a hybrid model that utilises a mix of technology-driven tools and in-person interaction to deliver one-of a-kind practical business training to entrepreneurs over a 12-week period.
The online training offers an online community which connects entrepreneurs in a shared learning environment, excellent networking opportunities and most of all, a condensed business plan - Business Pitch Deck - which they can use to present their business in a bankable way, upon completion of training.
"A year ago, we launched our online-learning platform for entrepreneurs and we weren't sure exactly what to expect. We knew that the content and tools provided were game changing, and that there was no one else in the Caribbean providing a non-academic learning portal for entrepreneurs.,"said Melissa von Frankenberg, communications and partnerships manager at the BCoEC.
RECRUITING UNDERWAY
BCoEC is now recruiting for the next group of participants who wish to join its online training programme. Registering on the virtual platform and completing the 12-week training is the first step in gaining access to the Centre's full suite of accelerator support services. At end of the training period, participants' entrepreneurial skills will be tested by submitting pitch videos and their business pitch decks to BCoEC.
"We are now proud to say that the Branson Centre Caribbean Online will be made available to entrepreneurs in the British Virgin Islands next month. We have added some more content and are now looking for another batch of entrepreneurs in Jamaica to begin training - the first step to entering our official entrepreneur benefits programme," von Frankenberg said.
After careful assessment and evaluation, successful candidates will be admitted into Cohort 11 of the Official Entrepreneur Programme where they can unlock the world of benefits and business support that come with being a Branson Centre Official Entrepreneur. Interested participants can sign up for entrepreneur registration at www.bransoncentre.co.
The use of the Centre's Caribbean Online programme is free to all entrepreneurs who register.
