Published:Saturday | January 30, 2016 | 12:00 AM

Hours before the much anticipated People’s National Party (PNP) mass rally, the police have announced major traffic changes around Half-Way Tree Square, in St Andrew.

The changes, which take effect at 7 o’clock tomorrow morning, will see several streets being closed to vehicular traffic until midnight.

As part of the changes, the police say heading into Half-Way Tree, Constant Spring Road will be close at the South Avenue intersection while Hope Road will be closed at the intersection with Winchester Avenue.

The police say all provisions of the Road Traffic Act will be enforced and urged drivers not to allow passengers to have body parts protruding from their vehicle.

The police say delegates and supporters attending the meeting will be subject to search.
