Spelling Bee: 13 misspelt words after 10 rounds

After 10 rounds of spelling in the morning session of The Gleaner Children's Own Spelling Bee finals there have been a total of 13 misspelt words.

The 14 contenders were given a total of 140 words.

At the end of the morning session, when the competition took a lunch break, the Portland Parish finalists Rhonoya Anderson had five misspelt words, Michaela Harvey from Hanover had two, while Ojae Shekleford and Greig Campbell from St Mary from and St Ann both had one misspelt word.

Other parish finalists with one misspelt word included:

Israel Burnett from St Catherine, Jaydean Forbes from St James and Lando Fullerton from St Thomas.
