Footprints: Trudy Maxine Deacon - A true ambassador for Christ

If one phrase could be used to describe this magnificent woman of God, it would be: 'If it is possible live at peace with all men.'
That was Trudy - pleasant, peaceful, seeking peace and pursuing it; speaking the truth quietly and clearly.
Even so, she possessed an attitude of leadership.
Samalsac Wholesale at Glendon Court Plaza, Old Harbour is where most persons met her and you couldn't tell that she was not the 'Boss Lady'.
The small business community and the schools that did business with her really appreciated her business etiquette.
In her later years, she started her own business - Tru-Bargin Wholesale.
Trudy gave of herself so that others could be happy and expected nothing in return.
When she learnt of her illness, she was not daunted; her spirits were up, encouraging and inspiring others and telling how ready she was to be with her Lord.
Even though she was sick, she had plans for the choir at Hebron Gospel Hall to do a Christmas Cantata.
Being the choir mistress, that was how dedicated she was, a true ambassador for Christ.
She leaves brothers Fred, Peter, Paul and Clifford; sisters Novlette and Gloria; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
