Paymaster, Magna doing more for customers
Paymaster, Jamaica's pioneering company in the multi-transactional bill payment industry and Magna Rewards, the premier loyalty programme in Jamaica, are partnering to give customers a more meaningful way to reap real rewards.. The announcement was made at an official launch ceremony held on Tuesday, at Paymaster's head office in Kingston.
The partnership will allow Magna cardholders to use their vouchers totalling more than $70M per quarter for payments of utility bills, school fees and all other payments collected at all 175 Paymaster locations island-wide.
The partnership will give their combined membership of some 500,000 customers the opportunity to earn additional points for each payment made at Paymaster plus a chance to earn double points when making bill payments using their Scotia-Magna Master card and Magna Card at the Paymaster locations. This double dip promotion is further enhanced for members of Paymaster loyalty programme, who will also earn additional loyalty reward points.
The Paymaster Loyalty Rewards Programme was launched in 2014, when for the first time in Jamaica, customers were given the opportunity to qualify for free insurance (critical illness and accidental death and disability underwritten by Sagicor), after making three payments for three consecutive months.
Last September, Paymaster enhanced its rewards programme in a partnership with FLOW, enabling customers paying any two FLOW bills to automatically qualify for free insurance.

Paymaster has also added the show & save benefit for its customers to receive significant discounts ranging from five-25 per cent at more than 300 merchant locations islandwide, when they show their Paymaster card.
Paymaster's executive Chairman, Ambassador Audrey Marks, said, "Paymaster is always looking for new and innovative ways to reward our customers . This strategic partnership will see both Paymaster and Magna taking the loyalty rewards industry to new heights."
She added, "Customers will benefit by receiving great value in a tangible way, especially in this economic environment where every saving counts."
