Duppy Film's suspected crony found hiding in a church

The police are reporting that a man believed to be a crony of Marlon 'Duppy Film' Perry was captured this afternoon, hiding at a church in Harbour View, St Andrew.

Police say he is to be charged.

He was captured as the police and members of the military continue their massive operation in pursuit of Perry.

Another man, also believed to be one of Perry's cronies, was killed in the operation on the outskirts of Harbour View this morning.

Meanwhile, the police have increased to $1.5 million, the reward for information leading to the capture of Perry.

Anyone with information that can assist the police in their investigations is being asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Branch headquarters at 922-4741 or 922-4487, Yallahs Police at 982-5075, Crime Stop at 311, 811, Stay Alert App, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.

FACTS:

*Marlon 'Duppy Film' Perry is one of Jamaica's most wanted men.

*He is of a Phillipsfield, Yallahs, St Thomas address.

*He is implicated in the December 2015 murders of Corporal Kenneth Davis and Constable Craig Palmer at a shop on the Poor Man's Corner main road in St Thomas.

The police are also asking the following people to immediately surrender to the Yallahs Police:

1) Jason Foster, 21, of East Albion, St Thomas.

2) Kevin Eldermire otherwise called 'Harry Patta' of a St Thomas address.
