B&D Trawling, a local seafood distributor, left its mark on Expo Jamaica 2016, held from April 14-17 at the National Arena and the National Indoor sports Centre.

An inviting and creatively decorated booth outfitted with fishing paraphanalia brought the booth's decor to life. Lobsters and tilapia were on display, and patrons who were brave enough actually held the lobsters.

Export products, including mahi-mahi and fish fillet, tilapia, snapper and lobster tails, were also on show.

There was product sampling of the company's signature items, while B&D's executives interacted with and answered questions from the curious patrons who visited the booth. Roderick Francis, CEO of B&D Trawling, was happy with the reception the booth received.

"We had hundreds of persons visiting our booth. It was wonderful to showcase our products and have guests actually taste freshly prepared seafood delights. Special thanks to the organisers and everyone who stopped at the B&D booth," Francis said.

Francis also explained that the expo was quite timely as the company will be opening its first retail outlet on April 29, and so it gave them a chance to get the public familiar with its offerings.
